Life in Provence, Côte d'Azur through the seasons

In January, average temperatures on the Côte d'Azur are unseasonably mild. Daytime highs reach around 12°C (54°F), while nighttime lows drop to around 6°C (43°F). Inland areas can be colder, especially at night. Despite the winter season, the Côte d'Azur still benefits from good sunshine in January. There is an average of 5 to 6 hours of sunshine per day. The days are shorter than in summer, but there is more sunshine than in many other European regions at this time of year.

Waiting for you on the French Riviera...
