Le protocole « Grand Zen » en auriculothérapie associe les points Cosmonaute, Point Maître Sensoriel (PMS), O’, O, Rhinencéphale, Commissure Blanche Antérieure (CBA) et Commissure Blanche Postérieure (CBP) selon la cartographie du Dr Alimi.

Il consiste donc à additionner les protocoles de Détente Neuro-Végétative(DNV) et de ligne des commissures, en ajoutant le point Rhinencéphale. Il est indiqué, comme son nom le suggère, en cas de stress, anxiété, éventuellement état de choc ou sevrage tabagique.

L’expérience clinique montre qu’associer le protocole « Grand Zen » à l’un ou l’autre point selon la plainte du patient donne des résultats thérapeutiques intéressants et parfois même surprenants.

Le présent exposé consistera à décrire ces différentes possibilités à la lumière de cas cliniques vécus et à tenter d’expliquer la cohérence de ces résultats prometteurs sur un plan neurophysiologique. La littérature scientifique semble malheureusement pauvre voire inexistante quant à l’utilisation de ce protocole.

Ce premier retour d’expérience pourra faire l’objet d’un point de départ pour une étude à plus large échelle.

2/ Presentation summary

Part 1 of the symposium : Manual Acupuncture, from TCM to Western Physiology.

This presentation will review the various principles of needle manipulation according to
TCM and explain their mechanisms of action from a scientific perspective and based on EBM
literature.

—> By reviewing the biochemical and biophysical properties of the acupuncture point, we
will describe the optimal needle manipulation to obtain maximum information (1).

—> By exploring the close correspondence between fascia and the acupuncture point, we will
describe how to achieve optimal stimulation of mechanotransduction processes (2) and the
correlation between fascia and meridians (3).

—> The recent demonstration of rich fascial innervation will help us understand the importance of puncturing the acupuncture point at the appropriate depth (4).

—> All of these mechanisms of action allow us to understand the importance of correct puncture
and the cellular reorganization around the acupuncture point that it induces for acupuncture
analgesia (5).

—> Finally, we will discuss the importance of eliciting Deqi during acupuncture point stimulation to
adequately modulate brain mechanisms (6).
It will introduce the symposium, focusing on the various acupuncture point stimulation
techniques.
