Presentation summary
1/ Introduction
Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) is a broad specialty that ranges from control of emunctories tocognitive faculties and musculoskeletal disorders.
NeuroAcupuncture (NA) is a form of practice of Acupuncture integrated into contemporary medicine.
The myofascial trigger points (TrP) [1, 2] are muscular fascicules in dysfunction after traumatism, microvascular deficiency, overuse… Treatment may be wet needling, dry needling or massages (shiatsu).

Method
The clinical examination and the diagnostic belong to Biomedicine. The choice of tissues to puncture and theirdepth with acupuncture needles and their manipulation (de qi, 得氣/得气) are conducted by the palpation andguided by the dialogue with the patient.
Tools for evaluation in PMR are used to demonstrate the efficiency of NA in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) andParkinson diseases (PD).
Electrical Bio-Potential Difference (EBPD)are used for Parkinson disease as for amputees’ painful neuromas.
In Myopathy, Myofascial TrP have different shapes depending on specific muscle structural disorders.
Subcutaneous semi-permanent acupuncture needles involves inserting thin and therefore flexible.

Results
The evaluation of Stance and Gait for patients with MS shows clear benefits: better equilibrium, easier walk. InPD, the efficiency is for tremor and painful stiffness. EBPD measured before and after acupuncture session, shows the efficiency of this technique for Parkinson tremor.
In myopathies, the myofascial TrP structure is different, and their puncture is more complex.
Efficient treatment for allodynic pains, the technique of subcutaneous semi-permanent acupuncture needles isalso helpful for different forms of locomotor difficult to treat pains.

Conclusion
NeuroAcupuncture is adapted as a treatment for painful myofascial TrP [5]. Its effectiveness should lead todeeper research for understanding of the mechanisms that benefit to patients.

2/ Introduction :
George Soulié de Morant (GSdeM) had a triple career: diplomat in China, prolific man of letters (35 works),and pioneer of Western Traditional, Medical, and Scientific Acupuncture.

Method :
The Treasure consists of 32 documents, preparatory work for the 15 articles (1929-1951) and four books(1934-1939-1940-1955) published in France.
These documents take various forms, from small notebooks to 21×29 cm Chinese-bound drafts.
Let’s examine the notebooks in detail: Alphabetical Order of Points (1), Symptoms (2 + 3), AcupunctureTherapy (1), List of Points and Their Indications (2 + 1), Acupuncture Manual (1, draft of the Acupuncture Handbook ?). Documents in other formats represent more elaborate steps toward future publications, whether manuscripts or typescripts.
At the heart of this treasure trove is the English manuscript. Indeed, it is the only document in this languagespoken by GSdeM since childhood. It is the subject of a chapter in the book “The Legacy of George Soulié de Morant” (forthcoming).
What strikes the reader are the numerous erasures and corrections, the addition of strips of paper filled withwriting in a different ink color, strips also filled with corrections.
The writing, in fountain pen, is fine and delicate.
Documents prior to the publication of the Atlas of Points and Meridians, included in Volume I (1939) and aseparate volume in the 1955 edition, are part of this remarkable collection. It should be noted that the meridian diagrams were drawn on tracing paper, also in pen, with alphanumeric notation, a GSdeM innovation that facilitated memorization of points, their names in Chinese (two classic characters), and then, for publication, placed on an “écorché.”

Conclusion :
The Treasury, containing 32 different documents, is a testimony of GSdeM’s pioneering role. We can appreciate the the work accomplished to enable French and European physicians to integrate Traditional Chinese Medicine.
