Workshop title
25 Years of Mastoid Acupuncture
Scheduled
Day 2, 9:45
Presentation summary
Mastoid acupuncture – Central Mastoid Somatotopy (CMS) – is an important microsystem of the 21st century. Its application is based on the latest findings in neuroscience.
It is a complete and highly efficient microsystem. The integration of reflex areas of the homunculus as well as the meridians and functional circuits of TCM opens up new possibilities for the successful treatment of complex clinical pictures.
Comprehensive treatment of the central nervous system is a special feature of CMS. This allows previouslydifficult-to-treat conditions such as stroke, central pain, neuralgia, and psychological trauma to be successfully treated in a relatively short time. There are also some impressive case studies demonstrating that improvements in quality of life are still possible in patients who have see mingly exhausted all other treatmentoptions (for example, in cases of paralysis following a stroke 10 years ago).
In this workshop, participants will receive a comprehensive introduction to CMS. Practical exercises under supervision will be offered. Initial application in everyday clinical practice is possible immediately after this introduction. Interested participants can learn mastoid acupuncture in various European centers.
