Introduction :
The topic of skin diseases has always been relevant and today it remains as essential for both treatment and research. Etiology and pathogenesis according to many sources continue to be unclear. Some authors presume that the cause of these diseases lies in various dysfunctions.
At the same time, skin diseases are considered multifuctorial disease in which there is a correlation between genetic background, immune system factors, inflammation, metabolic disorders and environmental factors.
The most widely-spread skin diseases are the following :
-rosacea
-eczema
-psoriasis
-urticaria
-neurodermatitis, etc.
The main method of treating skin diseases: local steroids, hormonal drugs, creams, etc.
Many patients report various side effects of conventional therapy and they try to apply complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). Acupuncture is an essential part of CAM that confirmed its efficacy.
Methods :
We used a complex of the following TCM methods:
1. acupuncture
2. auricular acupuncture
3. moxibustion
4. cupping
5. mei-hua-jin technique
Results :
The age of the patients ranged from 16 to 60 years. Total cases with various skin diseases were – 47 people.After complex treatment with TCM:
1) 15 patients had a long remission during 15 years
2) 20 patients had relapses after 10 years
3) The rest of the patients (12) during Covid-19 pandemic at the background of treatment with antiviral and antibacterial therapy had relapses. 6 of them had relapses after one year, 3 patients – after 2 months, two patients – after 4 months and one patient – after 3 weeks.
Conclusion :
1) Acupuncture is absolutely safe
2) Acupuncture and related techniques improve metabolism
3) Improve the function of the nervous system
4) Normalize hormonal levels
5) Acupuncture treatment can evacuate wind pathogens, replenish Qi and nourish the blood, regulate Yin andYang of internal organs, strengthen the body’s immunity and fundamentally improve prevention and treatment.

During 20 years Dr. Lili Luzina-Chju has been helping medical boarding school for children with ICP as a partof charity and every year she has been awarded with a certificate of gratitude for charitable work.
