And life goes on. Your life as a woman, your professional life, your life as a mother.
The children are grown, your relationship is stable. You feel yourself…
The cycles follow the seasons. You and your period are getting to know each other very well, and you’ve tamedeach other over the years.
At the peak of your feminine serenity, everything is called into question.
Why, when everything’s going so well, do you have to jump back into the vortex of change? And where to? Toold age?
For a start, these cycles, which you no longer understand. Sometimes your periods surprise you, sometimesyou seem to wait an eternity for them. Sometimes you feel they’re trying to get out but can’t. The flow changes.
The flow changes, so does your mood.
Your figure changes and you no longer recognize yourself.
Who is this pudgy woman yelling at her husband? Will this be the “you” of the future… for the rest of your life?
It’s a new door in your path. You can’t go around it.
Remember the last door you went through: puberty. That door scared you, hurt you and upset all your innocentbeliefs. It led you down hazardous paths, you felt alone, you thought you’d never get out.
And then, through her, you became an adult.
