Presentation summary
Purpose :
The autonomous nerval system controls organ and psychic functions. Vegetative disorders have an influenceon quality of life but as well as on the course of illnesses and in relaxing discharge. Acupuncture may influence any disease by touch of this vegetative dysfunctions. These connections should now be tested in patients with vegetative dystonia and symptoms like Dry Eye syndromes.
Method and patients :
Patients with vegetative disorders especially dry eye and dry mouth were observed before and after acupuncture
For psychic disorders questions regarding somatic and psychological stress phenomena used, Biovegetative diagnostics recorded the function of heart-rate, peripheral blood flow, respiration, sweating and muscular tension. Observations of Eye and mouth mucosa system as a marker for vegetative function was performed.
For acupuncture we used the Viennese rule (locale -points, organ relation, modality-relation)
Results :
32 patients mean age 41years were observed. Vegetative tension changed in different ways, Individual vegetative patterns could be recognized, which when converted resulted in a score that reflected the tension picture.
Results of measurements worked out reactions acupuncture with improved functions, exceptionally SCL results were aversive.
Summary :
This study explains stress-related signs and symptoms
Irritations of whole body and psychic burden observed by biovegetative measurements.
Acupuncture effect stressful load and improves vegetative irritations.
Dryness Score and subjective complaints decreased significantly by acupuncture treatment. While appropriate rehabilitation therapy can lead to recovery, the process is often prolonged and may result in permanent sequelae.
This study aims to report cases of acupotomy treatment in patients experiencing persistent pain and limited joint range of motion after surgery.
It also seeks to explore the mechanisms of adhesion release and highlight the diverse indications for acupotomy therapy in addressing these complications.
