Presentation title Acupotomy Treatment for Cervical Radiculopathy
Scheduled Day 3, 9:00
Presentation summary
Evaluation of pain location and pattern, sensory abnormalities, and areas of muscle weakness is crucial in diagnosing cervical radiculopathy.
Most cases of cervical radiculopathy are managed with conservative treatments such as physical therapy, medication, and steroid injections.
However, surgical intervention may be required for persistent or progressive neurological deficits.
This study aims to present a diagnostic and treatment protocol for acupotomy in patients with cervical radiculopathy who improved through non-surgical methods.
Additionally, it reports cases of patients unresponsive to prolonged Western medical treatment but showing improvement with acupotomy therapy.
