Presentation summary

1/ Disorders in organ functions, metabolism and vegetative state often cause major therapeutic challenges for doctors.

There are complex interactions between the environment and the inner world. Altered and disturbed biorhythms are increasingly seen as causes and obstacles to therapy.

This workshop will present examples of how Chinese medicine can use acupuncture and integrative dietetics to effectively and sustainably treat disturbances of life rhythms in the areas of digestion, sleep and breathing.

Proven concepts for acupuncture and dietetics with recommendations according to chrono-nutrition enable participants to quickly implement them in their everyday practice.

 

2/ Allergies are considered the disease of the 21st century and are one of the health challenges of our time.

Around 20-30% of the Western population believe they suffer from a food allergy. In fact, only 2-5% of adultsand 6-8% of children have a genuine food allergy proven by tests.

One problem is that intolerances or non-allergic reactions are misinterpreted as allergies.

As a result, there is a risk of strict and one-sided diets with the consequence of nutritionally inadequate nutrient supplies.

In addition, the quality of life of thoseaffected is sometimes severely restricted. The immunological basis of allergies and intolerances is presented.
