Scheduled
Day 2, 14:30
Presentation summary
In western medicine, auto immunity is the failure for both innate and acquired immune system responses indistinguishing Self from Non Self which is the loss of Self Tolerance which is encoded in DNA inside thechromosome 6 which is controlling the Major Histo Compatibility Complex (MHC).
In TCM, auto immunedisease is the consequence of the deficiency of the innate Jing stored in the Kidneys. The unhealthy environment has the power for creating a chronic inflammation and multiple genetic mutations. They both playa critical role in auto immune disease initiation. The hidden root of auto immune disease is the imbalance between the 5 Organs-Zang involved in the immune system of defense protecting the body from Xie Qiexternal pathogen invasion or internal toxicity damage. The toxic environment is the epigenetic background favorable for the auto immune disease to emerge on the surface. TCM is treating the patient who is the root ofthe disease. Western medicine is dealing with the branches of the disease, the symptoms.
My presentation is focused on the bridge between western medicine and the TCM regarding the pathological mecanisms of autoimmune disease regarding 3 topics
1.The immune system is the natural barrier protecting against external and internal invasion of pathogens. Bridge between Yuan Qi and genetic DNA, Wei Qi and lymphocytes B in the lung mucosa ; Ying Qi producedby the Spleen and the gut barrier
2. The chronic inflammation resulting from the energy imbalance between the5 Zang-Fu according to the 5 Elements cycle inTCM ; Bridge between oxydative stress and liver heat produceby long standing Liver Qi stagnation, mitochondria burn out and deficiency of Kidney Jing, Spleen Qi deficiencyand leaky gut
3. The auto immune disease diagnosis in TCM : The roots are Deficiency SYNDROM involving KIDNEY (YuanQi), SPLEEN (Ying Qi) & LUNG (Wei Qi), Liver blood deficiency and liver Qi stagnation. SUN Zisaid « The possibility for victory is in the strategy of the…
