Possibilities of Traditional Chinese and Korean Medicine in the Treatment of Diseases Resulting from Psycho-Emotional Trauma

Introduction :
This presentation focuses on the latest possibilities for the treatment of diseases that arise as aresult of psycho-emotional injury using traditional Chinese and Korean medicine. Diseases can be perceivedas a form of communication between the body and mind of the patient. Traditional Chinese and Korean medicine are suited to supporting the relationship between the body and the mind. With new acupuncture approaches the therapists can help the patients to overcome the vitious circle of stuck emotions and relapsesof disease states.
Methods :
One of the most effective therapeutic modality for helping people with curing the diseases frompsycho-emotional trauma is the eight extraordinary vessels acupuncture. Each of these vessels has a unique function that helps us to adapt to hard life situations. The lecture provides a review of individual diseases inrelation to extraordinary pathways. The aim of the lecture is also introducing our therapeutic results by using anew Korean treatment method- mind acupuncture /combination of Saam acupuncture and a new treatment method by Prof. Junghwan Lee/
Results :
The results are presented in 3 case studies. The first case report deals with the treatment of low backpain syndrome in a female patient via TCM and Mind Acupuncture. The second case report describes asuccessful treatment of severe asthma in a female patient by using acupuncture of 8 extraordinary paths with afocus on the treatment of the psyche. The third case report is informing about a successful treatment of a childsuffering from acute appendicitis via TCM and Mind Acupuncture.
Conclusion :
The aim of the presentation is to introduce our therapeutic results in the treatment of diseases resulting from psycho-emotional trauma by combining TCM, mind acupuncture and acupuncture of 8 extraordinary paths with a focus on the treatment of the psyche. Acupuncture Cas …
