The French Speaking Association for Supportive Care In Cancer (AFSOS) establishes regulary a number of guidelines to help and inform caregivers in the management of many of the side effects related with cancer treatment. In december 2024 the guideline has been updated.

In collaboration with the French College of Acupuncture (CFA) , it cites acupuncture as a useful and relevant Non-Pharmacological Intervention inSupportive Care.

The author outlines the indications for which acupuncture has been deemed to be of interest, and cite recents recommendations, papers, meta-analyses and systematic reviews which led to the update of the guideline in december 2024.
